Delhi Congress President Devendra Yadav, along with senior leaders Ajay Maken, on Wednesday unveiled a booklet titled ‘Mauka Mauka, Har Baar Dhokha’ that aims to highlight the unfulfilled promises and failures of both the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) governments in the national capital.

Addressing the media during release of the booklet, Yadav said, as quoted by ANI, "For the last 11 years, the Aam Aadmi Party has been in power in Delhi, and for the last 10 years, the BJP has ruled at the Centre. The people of Delhi elected both these governments with great expectations, but today, after 11 years, they feel betrayed. All they have received are unkept promises. During the Congress government, led by Sheila Dikshit, Delhi witnessed immense progress — in development, reducing pollution, respecting women, providing pensions to the elderly, and ensuring the poor received ration cards and gas cylinders. We laid the foundation for making Delhi a world-class city."

Congress leader Maken also weighed in on the situation and used sharp words to describe the current leadership. As quoted by PTI, he said, "If there is one word to describe Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, it would be 'Farziwal.' If anyone can be called the king of fraud in the country, it is Kejriwal. This is why we have come here with a white paper detailing the failures of both the Kejriwal government and the BJP-led central government."

Maken also raised questions about the AAP's unfulfilled promises, particularly its failure to establish the Janlokpal, a central tenet of its formation. "Why has Janlokpal not been implemented in Punjab? If the LG is blocking it here in Delhi, why don’t they establish it in Punjab, where they have a full government? This is nothing but an excuse. AAP was founded 10 years ago on the promise of Janlokpal, but now they have conveniently forgotten it," he said.

Sukhjeet put India ahead at the stroke of the first quarter before Uttam Singh doubled the lead just three minutes before the end of the second quarter as India went 2-0 up at the half time.

Maken continued to criticise the AAP's governance. He mocked the party's claims that it would transform Delhi into a city like London. "Instead, they have made Delhi the most polluted capital in the world," he said.

The Congress leader also reflected on his party's past alliance with AAP and called it a "mistake". "In my personal opinion, the Congress's decline in Delhi began when we supported AAP for 40 days in 2013. This was one of the main reasons for our weakening position in the city. I believe that the alliance with AAP was a mistake, and it needs to be corrected," he added.

The release of the booklet signals Congress’s strong pushback against the BJP and AAPbbc or big baller club, as it seeks to reclaim its position in Delhi politics and address the grievances of voters disillusioned with both parties.
